Marcus Hjort
Marcus Hjort (MD, PhD) is a board-certified specialist physician in cardiology with a broad clinical interest in the field of cardiovascular disease, although with a particular focus on primary and secondary prevention.
He holds a PhD from Uppsala University and his research is devoted to exploring biomarkers in myocardial infarction and coronary artery disease. Marcus has been with CTC since August 2020 and he has served as a principal investigator and sub-investigator in several clinical trials in different therapeutic areas, mainly within phase III.
