Håkan Walfridsson
Håkan Walfridsson (MD, PhD, Assoc.professor) is a senior consultant and associate professor in cardiology. He has over 40 years’ clinical experience in cardiology with a special interest in arrhythmias and has been performing catheter ablations since the introduction of this technique. Håkan has research experience as principal investigator from several phase II antiarrhythmic pharmaceutical trials as well as studies with focus on the effects of atrial fibrillation. His recent research has focused on evaluation of symptom burden and health-related quality of life in patients with different forms of cardiac rhythm disturbances. Håkan has been with CTC since 2023 and works mainly at CTC’s site in EbbePark.
